Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress who is best known for playing Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" and has earned lots of attention. Calvano is a Californian who initially was intrigued by competitive gymnastics. Then, she chose to be an actress. Her first appearance on screen was on the screen in 2010 with the episode of CBS's NCIS. In the crime drama biographical film J Edgar, she made her debut on the big screen couple of months after. She has become one of the most exciting actresses over the last few years. In the 'NCIS' series, her performance which was nominated for the Young Artist Award 2011 for Best Performance of a TV Series featuring a Guest Actress between 11-15 years old. In 2013, for the role of a guest on Disney XD's "Kickin' It Comedy Series and received a second nomination for a Young Artist Award. Calvano played a major role in "Mom" in the series in its first three seasons in addition to making appearances on several episodes of Season 4. Calvano's role being a rising star in Mom earned her the Gracie Allen Award, which is awarded to female actresses.
