Rochon is a native of Torrance, Los Angeles suburb of Torrance she is the daughter of Zelma, a nurse practitioner and Samuel Staples, a business owner and graphic artist. Cerritos Senior High School, in Cerritos California is the place where Rochon graduated in 1982. In 1986 she earned her degree in 1986 from California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) in which she obtained a bachelor's in broadcast journalism, with minors in sociology and theatre. Rochon was featured as a guest speaker at the CSUDH's College of Arts and Humanities ceremony at the beginning of 2016.

Heather Storm has been a producer and host on TV for numerous networks. She also writes about travel. A car enthusiast, Heather has worked as a TV host, producer as well as a travel writer for a variety of networks. Heather is the creator and hosts of the digital travel series, Drive Yourself Local, in which she travels across America in her 1965 Ford Mustang sharing local slices of small town life. Heather has also been featured in a variety of television series and films, such as Nightingale Epic Movie and Tosh

Ullerup was seen as Julia Brynn for the first appearance in Battlestar Galactica: The Remake in 2006 on the Sci Fi Channel. Her character, Ashley Magnus, was created for Sanctuary's initial and second season. Her departure remained the subject of heated debate among fans, with many of them wanting her brought to the show in subsequent episodes until the show was canceled in the year 2012. Ullerup appeared in Chesapeake Shores as Bree O'Brien. Ullerup played Maggie Thomas the estranged husband of Michael Thomas. Ullerup also played Dale Travers, a recurring actor within Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered films, from 2016 to present.
